Day 1 : Airport - Pinnawala – Kandy

Meeting and assistance upon your arrival at BIA and visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.
The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is one of Sri Lanka's most popular tourist attractions. The orphanage's population has now mushroomed to around 65, making it the world’s largest collection of captive elephants. The elephants here range in age from newborns to elderly matriarchs, and include orphaned and abandoned elephants, as well as those injured in the wild.
Further we drive to reach Kandy and en-route stopover to visit the Spice gardens of Sri Lanka one can enjoy a complimentary head massage here. Post visit drive to Kandy, arrive, you will be able to witness the Kandyan cultural dance show in the evening which has a spectacular firewalking finale. and check in to the hotel.

Day 2 : Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Kandy which is a UNESCO world heritage site. The historic city about 480m above sea level surrounded by mountains was known to Sri Lankan as Kanda Uda Rata, which means the hill country. Kandy was home to Sri Lanka's last independent Kingdom, which survived two centuries of colonial incursion before finally falling to the British at the beginning of the nineteenth century. Visit the temple of the Tooth Relic, Peradeniya Botanical Garden and Peradeniya University and catch a panoramic view of the picturesque town from Upper Lake Drive. Kandy is also famous for shopping and you will have the opportunity of browsing to your heart’s content. Later you will leave for Nuwara Eliya and en route stopover to visit Bhakta Hanuman Temple after that you will see Ramboda Falls. Moving further also visit the Dambro Tea Processing factory and get indulged in the essence of world-famous Ceylon Tea.

Day 3 : Nuwara Eliya – Ella - Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, you will enjoy sightseeing in Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya meaning "the city of dawn" is the town at the highest elevation (about 2000m above sea level) in Sri Lanka and its tallest peak, Piduruthalagala (2555m) could be seen from here. The city established by the British in the nineteenth century, and known as "Little England" and is a popular holiday resort for Sri Lankans & tourists due to its cool climate and quaint colonial feel with its little bungalows surrounded by hedgerows. Later you will leave for Ella, Visit Seetha Amman Temple, it is said to be built at the spot where Ravana held Sitha captive, as related in the Ramayana. The small temple has a collection of statues, including a couple of Kali images. You can also visit Hakgala Botanical Garden. Arrive in Ella. You will visit sites in Ella, including Mini Adam’s peak, Nine Arches Bridge and Ravana Falls.

Later head back to Nuwara Eliya.

Day 4 : Nuwara Eliya – Colombo

After breakfast, check out and visit Gregory Lake, one can enjoy some water sports here. Spend your evening visiting Victoria Park and nearby alleys. Leave Nuwara Eliya for Colombo. En route we stopover at St. Clair Major Falls view point a scenic photo stop overlooking waterfall & tea gardens. Later continue your drive and arrive in Colombo.

Day 5 : Colombo - Negombo

After breakfast, check out the hotel and enjoy a city tour of Colombo which is the largest city and former administrative capital of Sri Lanka and is a busy and vibrant city with a mixture of modern life and remnants of a bygone colonial era. Due to its large harbor and its strategic position along the East-West Sea trade routes, Colombo was known to ancient traders 2,000 years ago. However, it was only made the Capital of the island when Sri Lanka was ceded to the British Empire in 1815. The main city is home to a majority of the Sri Lanka’s corporate offices, restaurants and entertainment venues. On this tour you will visit many of the historical, religious and commercial sites of Colombo.

Later leave for Negombo.

Day 6 : Negombo - Airport

After breakfast, you will relax on the beach. Check out and visit sites in Negombo, Negombo – sometimes known as “Little Rome” due to the profusion of Christian Churches, this archetypical fishing village has now grown to a major beach resort on the west coast, north of Colombo and 15 minutes from the International Airport. The wide sandy beaches and safe sea bathing are major attractions, as is the fish market where busy trading of a variety of fish, prawns and crabs takes place each morning (except Sunday) when the fishing craft return to shore. Traditional large sailed outrigger canoes are a picturous sight in this village which was once a trading port for the Portuguese and Dutch. Other attractions are the old Dutch fort gate built in 1672 now a part of the prison and the Dutch Canal which was then a supply route forthe Dutch administration.

You will be transferred to BIA for your return flight.
